This position will manage a team of sales associates that are responsible for building and maintaining a network of truck dealers in North America. They will work very closely with large dealers to maintain sales relationships and generate more sales. This position will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the Dealer sales team. The position will be actively involved with all levels of Penske management including Area Vice President, District Managers, and Remarketing Management.
-Managing the process of selling units to dealers, maximizing price, minimizing cycle time.
-Align and improve processes for channel sales representatives to maximize productivity and sales activity
-Manage the development and roll-out of annual marketing campaign around large fleets, off-lease equipment and rental and one-way fleet by working with the Marketing department.
-Resolving service complaints from dealerships and managing the refund policy.
-Provide sales coverage for open positions to continue the sales process.
-Develop, qualify and maintain sales relationships with large dealers for disposal of large fleets
-Other projects as assigned by the manager
-2 - 5 years management experiencerequired
-2 - 5 years sales experiencepreferred
-4 year degree in business field preferred
-Strong customer relationship building skills required
-Knowledge of truck specificationspreferred
