This position is responsible for the reporting and analysis of financial results for the assigned functional Unit, both internally to the Regional Business Unit Management Team and externally to the Global R&D function. Advise and collaborate with all levels of management regarding financial controlling issues and align with Global and Local requirements. Review Unit functional costs for fluctuations and trends. Must be able to coordinate the collection of all necessary financial information, build and maintain models to support reporting and analysis requirements. The position will provide financial controlling for the area budget management, ensuring that spending stays within budget, and input into forecase planning is current, reasonable and timely. The position will be a key resource to the Business Area head in handling all ad-hoc analysis, reporting and compliance issues. MBA with 10 years of diversified financial background or equivalent. Must be able to develop and present insightful financial analysis and reports. Requires strong global, cross functional, departmental, and divisional relationships. Must be proficient in global and local financial systems to access and report on world wide financial data.
