This position is responsible for the day to day handling of all product-related requests and inquiries in support of Global Supply Chain accounts and brands or any other Divisions supported by this team. Contact Activity may be received via multiple toll-free lines or alternate sources such as mail, email, live chat or other mediums. Agents must represent each brand supported by the department in a manner that promotes the brand’s image and sales. Should they arise, this position is responsible for the investigation and timely resolution of complaints for these Global Supply Chain customers and any other Divisions supported by this team. Product Support agents are expected to gain product expertise by participating in hands-on and product knowledge training session that may be conducted off-site. Productivity, service, quality of communication and quality of information are key role responsibilities to ensure that Sherwin-Williams is promoted to consumers and customers as the vendor of choice. This position is actively involved in TEAM 150 initiatives.
Customer service experience or transferable customer contact experience, demonstrating the ability to provide customer satisfaction through effective communication with every interaction via telephone, email, chat or mail. The Product Support Agent must have experience utilizing fundamental PC skills as well as good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
High School diploma required.
Preferred – college degree or current enrollment in college program, comparable business experience considered.
Product Support is open Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 9:00p.m., Saturdays 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m and Sundays 9:30 a.m. - 5:30p.m. Agents are expected to work flexible shifts within those hours, as business needs dictate.
