Position Responsibilities:
About the opportunity:
Join The Sherwin-Williams Company’s award winning Professional Apprentice™ (Co-op) program. You’ll be given the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while building your resume through practical work experience with a Fortune 500 Company. Most available positions are located in downtown Cleveland at our Corporate Headquarters. Full year enlistment; part time (15-20 hours per week) as well as up to 28 hours per week.
As an Infrastructure Professional Apprentice™, you’ll be given the opportunity to work in a rotational role gaining exposure to the following areas: PC configuration lab, Phone and desktop support, Networking, Enterprise messaging and Unix support.

Position Responsibilities may include, but may not be limited to:
• Providing basic hardware and software troubleshooting in a team environment including hands-on, over-the-phone and remote controlled support;
• Computer imaging and configuration of desktops and laptops;
• Supplying excellent customer service while maintaining detailed call logs when working with customers;
• Using effective communications to ensure clients problems are being resolved in a timely and appropriate manner;
• Identifying trends using data analysis.
• Implement enterprise wide software delivery and audit to ensure licensing requirements and proper operation/installation.

Experience Required:
• Current college/university student with an interest in potentially working on an on-going basis until graduation
• Capability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week (max 28), with a flexible schedule based around the candidate’s school schedule during normal business hours
• The ability to multi-task and handle diverse, complex problems
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a team environment

Education Required:
• Currently enrolled in college degree program and actively working toward an Associates, Bachelors or Masters Degree in IT/Computer technology or related field
• Graduation date on or after December 2014
• GPA of at least 2.5
