Seeking a People-Oriented Occupational Therapist. Apply today!
Our client is a not-for-profit, community-based health system serving northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. As the region’s largest employer, their mission is to improve the health of the communities they serve. Formed in 1995, their heritage of care and compassion lives on, today, with eight hospitals and a solid network of primary care and specialty physicians. This health system currently has a great opportunity for a friendly, adaptable, and approachable Occupational Therapist to work onsite at the plant facility of their client company, which happens to be the nation's leading manufacturer and most preferred brand of fiberglass and steel exterior door systems.
As an Occupational Therapist, you would provide professional care and practice occupational therapy for approximately 800 employees working 3 different shifts. You would evaluate, plan, implement, and document care provided for your onsite services. These services would include, but not be limited to, injury assessment, preventative care, wellness planning, ergonomic assessment and implementation, and job coaching. Your efforts would complement those of an onsite Health and Safety Committee and other applicable healthcare providers. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Your background should include experience in onsite wellness, outpatient, ortho, and ergonomics. Licensure in the State of Indiana by the Health Professions Bureau of Indiana is required.
As an employee of our healthcare system client, you’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary and full employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. (A sign-on bonus and relocation package is available for qualified candidates.) At our client’s contract company, you’ll find an energized and inspirational work environment that only a fast-growing and innovative organization can offer.
Love your job! Do what you do best! Send your resume and letter of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org for immediate consideration. Be sure to specify “Occupational Therapist – 35917” in the subject line.
