We are seeking an individual to lead and manage the delivery of
key business related projects and programs to further our business
The selected individual will be responsible for the following:
Managing all aspects of West Central Region projects including planning, design, procurement, resource planning, cost, scheduling and implementation activities, across multiple areas. Overall project management for any assigned Region projects.
Working with the relevant business sponsors to define and shape the project, ensuring that they are aligned.
Ensuring acceptance by all stakeholders, through effective Change Management Programs.
Working closely with project stakeholders and key users to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support their business goals.
Managing competing priorities and dependencies, liaison with Management and other Project Managers to ensure optimum usage of all resources
Identifying, coordinating and ensuring availability of key human resources and business resources.
Managing the program's budget, monitoring expenditures and costs against this budget and delivering to agreed costs.
Ensuring schedules, time estimates, and detailed project plans are provided for all deliverables, including risk assessments and opportunities.
Tracking project milestones, identifying problem areas before they impact the project and coordinating corrective actions and establishing escalation procedures.
Managing all Program / Project communication with key stakeholders in all relevant areas of the business, provide Region wide communication of progress as required.
Setting objectives, providing direction, advice to assigned project delivery teams.
Collaborating with the design, development teams to ensure that the business requirements are properly defined, developed and deployed to the relevant business customer's satisfaction.
Ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
Carrying out post implementation reviews of all programs / projects to ensure that original goals / requirements are being met.
Actively seeking opportunities, new initiatives, developments and financially quantifiable efficiencies in the business throughout the implementation.
Contributing to the planning, budgeting and overall management of the project.
Contributing to the Hertz Improvement Process (HIP) to discover new and more efficient ways to run our business and deliver the right products and services to our customers faster and at a lower cost. Drives change from within to improve customer satisfaction and uses teamwork to tackle problems.
Educational background in Project Management strongly preferred
Six Sigma Experience preferred
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple assignments in a highly demanding business environment.
PMI certification is desired.
Expert Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Project.
Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions and take action.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and projects in a demanding
Analytical personality with a focus on follow-up
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
