Senior Information Security Analyst
The Senior Security Analyst’s role is to support the company in the protection of our information assets from intentional or unintentional disclosure, modification, destruction, or denial of access through the implementation of appropriate information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
The Senior Security Analyst’s role is to identify and resolve potential security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion. The Senior Security Analyst will conduct both network and user activity audits to ensure compliance with policy and standards where required, and determine security needs, developing and implementing solutions, and creating and enforcing security policies are essential tasks for this position.

The Senior Security Analyst plans, develops, coordinates, and assists with the implementation and enhancement of information security measures to provide access to our systems and information in a secure manner.

• Develop and assist in the enhancement of the Information Security Program and the yearly information security assessment.
• Assist with the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of information security solutions to enhance core security capabilities in the areas of security infrastructure, access management, networking, databases, servers, etc.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices.
• Develop and implement as required the necessary monitoring solutions to audit and enforce company policies and controls.
• Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards.
• Develop security awareness materials, security presentations, and information security training sessions.
• Analyze log files, and report breaches including potential solutions; monitor network traffic activity; assist technical staff in troubleshooting and resolving network security issues.
• Recommend and deploy additional security products and tools, or enhancements to existing tools, to detect violations of network security measures.
• Coordinate and support the Vulnerability Management program to identify, communicate, and track vulnerabilities and patches for critical systems and devices.
• Perform vulnerability assessments (internal, external, application, database, firewall) to identify potential threats and remediation strategies.
• Provide Information Security support for:
• IBM Tivoli Identity Management system for centralized user access
• Remote user access administration and support
