I. The Global Card Company Correspondent position is the main contact for the day to day interactions with credit card companies regarding customer billings. This position is the company’s only opportunity to defend debits for a credit/debit card receivable (chargebacks) from the credit card companies by performing research and meeting the contractual deadlines for requested information.
II. The ideal candidate is an individual that is detailed oriented and can work well under pressure. Deadlines must be met to avoid unnecessary losses.
Key Result Areas
Respond to copy requests: provide rental copies within contractual time limit to chargebacks
Research/reject chargebacks: perform research and reject chargebacks to avoid losses
Process accepted chargebacks: ensure accurate accounting/coding to reduce future loss
Recent customer service experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (written exercise given)
Alphanumeric data entry skills (6,000 ksph - test required)
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (test required)
Excellent Phone Skills
Strong computer/software skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines
Criminal Background check required due to access of Personable Identifiable Data (PID)
Preferred Requirements :
Foreign language speaking and reading abilities are beneficial, preferably French
Accounts Receivable experience and rental rates experience a plus
Knowledge of Hertz policy and procedures beneficial
Obtaining knowledge of the contractual timeframes that must be met
