Administrative Assistant, VP (Signet, Corporate Affairs)

This role is critical to supporting the Corporate Affairs function within Signet Jewelers Ltd, in assisting in the continuous improvement of the operations of Signet Strategic Communications Planning, Corporate Giving, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives, as well as, Government, Media and Industry Relations that fall under the VP’s area of responsibilities.


Key administrative components of the role include:

· Schedule resources such as people, meetings, appointments, conference rooms, catering and equipment.

· Manage phones of VP Signet Corporate Affairs, including answering calls, taking messages, responding to questions from stores, members of the media, and general calls, and direct callers to appropriate parties as necessary.

· Organize and maintain files.

· Oversee travel arrangements and prepare subsequent travel expense reports.

· Manage record retention and archival processes for all support materials.

· Assist with monitoring media alerts.

· Prepare and edit complex memos, documents, presentations, and other correspondence.

· Prioritizes workload and facilitates support for all department personnel as required.

· Provide backup administrative support to the SVP Corporate Affairs and General Council.

· Maintain optimal working conditions for the Corporate Affairs department by monitoring the working condition of the copiers / printers, and restocking the supply inventory as necessary.

· Execute confidential projects as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


ADA Requirements:

· Performing tasks in a sitting down position for extended periods of time.

· Repetitive movements

· Lifting of boxes and/or files of weights less than 25 lbs.

· Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
