Business Analyst (Home Office Repair)
The Business Analyst is responsible for development and publication of routine and ad-hoc reports and analytics regarding SJIM production and related services. This position will provide support to the SJIM management team in preparation of budgets, financial analysis, month end reconciliation, capital expenditure and investment analysis and will provide insight and recommendations where appropriate to support decision making within the department. Accountabilities: Lead the development and publication of routine and ad-hoc reports & analytics regarding SJIM production and related services; Retrieval of all relevant data from Data Warehouses needed to compile and produce informative reporting while providing the necessary support to improve profitability and/or productivity of the department; Understand and make recommendations to management with regard to the analysis performed through daily operations within the department; Ability to present information and recommendations in large group settings, including/up to senior level management; Assist in the development and subsequent maintenance of management reports and analysis that detail departmental performance to service levels and production plans; Completion of support analysis to assist the Director in providing insight, through analysis, on inventory trends, productivity rates and efficiency levels within the department; Create and/or provide ongoing maintenance for various advanced MS Access databases used across several departments at the company; Transition ad-hoc reporting into regularly scheduled queries for management reporting needs; Develop new processes and applications to make information easily accessible; Act as technical support to the department with regard to the use of systems and software; Other various responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in related field; Minimum of 3-5 years analytical experience; Advanced knowledge of MS Access & Excel; Knowledge of SQL, VBA preferred; Proficient in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint & Visio; Experience with MicroStrategy helpful; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
